当社はこれまで光学レンズユニットを中国・東莞工場（Topcon Optical (Dongguan) Technology Ltd.）において生産してまいりましたが、この一部を新工場に移管し、東莞工場ではスマートインフラ及びアイケア製品の光学ユニット等の生産を強化し、グローバルでの生産拠点の最適化を図ってまいります。
新工場ではまず複写機用光学ユニットの生産をスタートし、今後取扱い部品を拡大してまいります。
