7月13日（金）に国土地理院より、「東北地方などの電子基準点より準天頂衛星やグロナス衛星のデータ提供を開始－ＧＮＳＳ時代への対応による震災復興支援－」が発表されました。
これにより、GPS衛星だけではなくグロナス衛星も利用出来るため、上空視界の制約でGPSだけでは測量できなかった地域でも測量が可能となります。
電子基準点からGPS衛星以外のデータが供給されることで、今回初めて本格的なGNSSスタティックデータの配信が行われることになります。
